CES 2011 which wrapped this weekend enjoyed one of its most successful showings with attendance of 140,000 plus. I think this was not a record but it was close, and higher attendance than during the economic doldrums of the past few years. I consider technology to be a high quality and leading economic indicator – if Tech is doing well then the future is looking brighter for the global economy. Unlike some “regional specific” industries, Technology is critical in the developed world where the global economy is in many ways “directed” but also critical in the developing world where much of the production activity takes place and an increasing amount of innovation and services as well. Blah, Blah, Blah, lets show you some of the cool stuff we saw!

Beginning October 8th, visitors will hop aboard a tractor towed wagon, where they’ll be at the mercy of “fifteen foot tall mascots of death, a nice cute group of 200 year old children, and your friendly neighborhood clown.”

The admission also includes access to a Haunted Haymaze to get lost in, and a “Carnival of Souls” with pumpkin face painting, and games. There will be rides for both small and big kids. LOTS of rides that you haven’t seen before…like a Scary Go Round!! What’s that?

It could be said that Chicken Charlie is single-handedly responsible for America's growing health problems, but why hate on a good thing!

Chicken Charlie's arsenal of heart-attack includes everything from Klondike Bars, cheesecake, White Castle, cheese balls and hot dogs to s' mores, Twinkies, and his famous Krispy Kreme chicken sandwich, a piece of chicken nestled between two halves of a Krispy Kreme donut.

But those extra calories don't seem to be hurting Chicken Charlie's business. These Xtreme Fry God's trailer grosses approximately $1.5 million every year. By there estimates, in the last five to six years they have sold close to 100,000 Twinkies, about 200,000 Oreo's, at least 10,000 Krispy Kreme chicken sandwiches since their debut three years ago,every day.
